Chakra Health and Balance

I’d like to thank everyone who was on my Teleseminar today and let you know how much I appreciate your time and support. I have had many requests to repeat the information on how to open up our Chakras, so here it is below.

The Root Chakra located at the Base of our spine. The color is Red and the Root deals with emotional issues that relate to: survival, security, stability and family. Lower back pain can be a sign that your root chakra is out of balance so walking and dancing can help to open and align it.

The second Chakra is the Sacral Chakra and is also known as the Sexual Chakra because it’s located in and around our sexual organs, its color is orange and its purpose is to help us connect emotionally and creatively with ourselves and our partner. Emotional distress such as guilt, shame and blame can result in pelvic problems and diminished libido. To open up your sacral chakra, you should do your Kegel exercises and circular or rocking pelvis movements.

The 3rd Chakra is the Solar Plexus located around the navel, its bright yellow and is also known as the “EGO” chakra. This intuitive power center is where we get our gut instincts and emotional power that signals us to face our fears. Stomach problems can be a sign of imbalance so doing abdominal breathing and sit ups can help release emotional issues such as low self-esteem, fear of rejection and oversensitivity.

The 4th Chakra is the Heart Chakra, a beautiful vibrant color green. This is our Love Center where hurtful relationships can affect our emotional being and leave us feeling wounded or closed hearted. Physical ailments that relate to the heart, lungs and breasts can be warning signs to open up your heart and give unconditional love, forgiveness and compassion to yourself and others. A wonderful exercise to balancing your heart chakra is to give compliments freely  and silently say “I love you” to people you want to connect with.

The 5th Chakra is the Throat Chakra, sky blue in color and responsible for expressing yourself with honesty and openness. Sore throats and TMJ can be clues that you are holding back anger, have a fear of judgment, so you don’t ask for what you want or need. Chanting and singing are great exercises to open up the Throat Chakra.

The 6th Chakra is the Third Eye Chakra located in the center of the forehead and the color Indigo. This is our mind center where we have the ability to manifest our dreams and goals, but we must have positive intentions. Physical signals can include interference with our hearing or eye sight so balance your mind center with creative visualization exercises like making your own vision board and manifesting happiness and success for others as well as yourself.

The 7th and last Chakra is the Crown Chakra violet in color and located at the top of the head. This is our highest spiritual connection to the universe and when it’s open we feel like we have found our life’s mission. When it’s closed, we can get headaches, feel fearful and depressed about the future, so sharing your wisdom with others can help you to open up your own Crown Chakra. Also writing down your dreams and being thankful will connect you with your spiritual energy.
